At the beginning of 2020, we shared a blog with “Our 2020 Vision.” Needless to say, we did not see what was coming at that time. Yet, looking back at what our focus was in January, we are grateful to share some ways in which we have brought aspects of that vision to life.
*We continue to strive to provide you with our diverse selection of approachable wines that are crafted with you, our customers in mind. In 2020 we introduced a few new wines, special vintages and the crowd favourite, LOLA Blush Sparkling Rosé VQA in a 250mL slim can.
*Our excitement of the sharing the art of winemaking through our social media was a source of inspiration for our team. We are grateful to you for being such a receptive and interactive audience.
*We wanted to offer you the very best customer service. Although we often were unable to do this face to face, our team members adapted. Along with the feedback and support you all offered while we learned and developed our online Wine Shop and Curbside shopping experience, we hope we’ve met and possibly, exceeded your expectations.
*Our commitment to sustainable winemaking practices offered us an even greater connection to our environment. Nature’s reminder of its cyclical rhythm and how we must work within it was a grounding constant.
*Our goal was to continue to grow our partnerships with our licensees, retail and community partners. Again, we could not have imagined the path 2020 was to provide in proving how important this is to us. We were all called upon to stand up and support each other. We are honoured and in awe of you, our customers, who did just that. You did not hesitate to join us in generating donations to our local food banks, the Stratford Festival, The Kingsville Christmas House Tour and the MS Society of Canada to name a few. Thank you to our partners and to all who participated with your support of this programming.
We are proud to continue this commitment to our community partners as we prepare for 2021. Along with providing you our best in both customer experience and the art of winemaking, we move forward with hope.
